Starting on April 7th, a significant portion of the Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot will close for essential upgrades and maintenance. The closure will affect approximately 4,500 spaces and is expected to last through the spring and summer travel seasons.
What to Expect
- Sections 3 and 4 of the Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot will be unavailable, impacting some shuttle shelter locations.
- Sections 1 and 2 shelters will remain operational, and about 4,500 spots on the lot’s north side will stay open.
- Improvements include shelter island reconstruction, curb updates, new snow storage, drainage improvements, repaving, restriping, and work to ensure ADA compliance.
